Miss Abby is the Owner and Director of Miss A’s Dance Company.
Miss Abby was trained by Jean Berel at the Jean Berel Dance Academy from the age of 3.
Miss Abby participated in numerous shows and gained fantastic results in all her exams in Ballet, Jazz and Tap. At the age of 17 Miss Abby passed her Student Teachers exam and then aged 18 she passed her Associate Teachers exam. She also passed her
A-level dance exam at Formby High 6th Form.
Miss Abby worked on various contracts aboard travelling around various parts of the world dancing in different hotels and venues.
On returning to the UK, Miss Abby successfully auditioned as a showgirl in Blackpool where she danced various contracts including panto before returning back to teaching in 2016. Miss Abby is also a successful choreographer, working on many shows in Blackpool. Miss Abby also teaches dance at an after school clubs & curriculum dance at a local schools in Formby & Crosby. Miss Abby is also a dancer on the Jersey Beats Tour performing in lots of venues across the UK. Miss Abby's latest achievement was taking another Teaching Associate exam in tap and a licentiate in jazz and gaining distinction in both.
Miss Abby is also is the Owner and Director of Dance & Entertainment company called On Pointe Productions.
Miss Lauren has been at Miss A’s since we opened. She has loved teaching a variety of different classes at Miss A's.
Miss Lauren has been dancing since she was 3 years old and has trained in many different styles, she has also taken part in many drama festivals over the years. She graduated from Edge Hill University in 2020, and is now studying for a Masters in Marketing.
She has competed across the country since starting performing arts at the age of 3.
Miss Lauren loves teaching at Miss A’s and watching the students grow as young people and into amazing dancers, she can't wait to continue to teach and work more within the industry.
Miss Evie has been teaching Dance and Drama for 6 years. Holding a first class degree at Bath Spa in Contemporary Dance & Drama and currently holds PTD's RSL Certificate in Vocational Dance Teaching and an Associate Teaching exam in Jazz. Alongside an A-Level in Drama and Level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts. Miss Evie and has many of her own experiences within the Performing Arts industry including Dancing for one of the UK biggest scare attractions Farmaggedon, performing in the cast of Grease at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall, dancing for a Masquerade Charity Ball with Miss Abby’s ‘ On Pointe Productions, acting roles in a number plays including Blood Brothers, Romeo & Juliet, Our Day Out. Miss Evie has done special effects make up for multiple productions including ‘The Creature’ in Frankenstein. Miss Evie has choreographed for many shows, competitions and events. Miss Evie is constantly enhancing her skills and willing to grow within the industry to always deliver current and innovative choreography to her students .
Miss Jess started dancing at the age of 3 and has always loved it from a young age. She is currently studying and training Dance at LMA College in Liverpool, and is in her final year before the venture onto university in September!
Miss Jess currently teaches and assists in a range of classes with the younger groups throughout the week.
Miss Jess shared ‘I absolutely love teaching and assisting at Miss As Dance Company and I am super grateful for the opportunity Miss Abby has given me. I really teaching a variety of classes throughout the week with the Intros, Minis and Juniors.

Miss Maisie has been a student at Miss A’s since September 2019 and has been a teaching assistant since November the same year. Miss Maisie was taught by Miss Abby for around 4 years prior to the opening of the company. In her most recent exams she received a distinction in grade 3 hip hop and a merit in grade 2 lyrical.
Miss Maisie has also chosen to study dance in her A Level at Formby High to further her experiences in dance and hopes to continue in the future.
Miss Maisie achieved her Bronze DofE in 2020 where her chosen activity was dance.
Miss Scarlett is one of the teaching assistants at Miss A's and assists in a few classes throughout the week as well as being a student on the competition team. Miss Scarlett has had a passion for dancing since a young age, starting dance at the age of 3 and performed her first competition at 6 years old.

Miss Ella is our newest member of the Miss A's team!
Miss Ella has a big passion for dancing, and excels in every class she attends.
Miss Ella helps out in the Acro classes, as well as other classes throughout the week.
Miss Ella has chosen to study dance in her GCSE's in school to further her experience in dance.
